To catch you up to speed, most of you have read or heard about the 'thing' following and interacting with my son. I figured it was an imaginary friend, until the incidents at my house. Since my last posting, there has been no activity at all at my house, not even a blip on the thermometer. None. Nothing. Zilch.
After wrestling practice last night, I was taking my boy to his mom's house where he sleeps during the week for school. Let me lay some foundation about this house. It was the first house that I lived in, and is the house that my son came to after his birth. Through my sons sickness, that is the house we stayed in. As time passed and he got better, I had some business ventures become profitable and we had a house built and moved. The house we moved to is where I live and the first sighting of Boy occurred. Over the next couple years, my sons mom and I agreed we were two different of people and split. She moved back to the original house with her sister and her sisters two young kids. In the house today, you have my ex, her sister, and 4 children (2 boys in one bedroom, 2 girls in the other, then my ex and her sister each have their own rooms) Now that you have a bunch of needless info that sort of sets the dynamics of that house.
Let's move on with the sighting. My boy and his brother, along with my ex were up and off to school and work. That left the two girls, one in a crib, and my ex's sister in the house (We will call her Mom for typing sakes). Mom woke up about 9ish, her normal time cause she works late at night. She heard noises in the hallway and seen a figure walk past her door. She immediately thought her one daughter had gotten the other out of the crib and jumped up to make sure everyone was ok. She opened the door to her room, went across the hall to the Girls room and they were both still fast asleep. It creeped her out and she remembered my story about Boy at my house.
She shared this story with me last night and it has me thinking. What will it take to get rid of this thing? Here is where I get into a struggle between my faith and the items at hand. As many of you know, I am a Christian, am saved, believe in Jesus and his sacrifice, believe in the father and the holy spirit. I am very sound in my beliefs there. What I struggle with is kid ghosts, or entities that appear to be children. With my Faith, I believe that God protects the 'Innocents'. People that cannot really understand what it means to believe in God, ones that haven't reached the age of accountability, which is different for everyone. Ghosts of children I believe to be other things. Whether it is just an impression left in time that replays itself; not an entity that interacts with those that are living. Like the Gettysburg soldiers you see that march through there lines and things, but never interact with 'us'. I believe that is just an impression left in time and space of a very traumatic/emothional event. Like a picture show of sorts.
That leads me to wonder what it actually is that is interacting with my son and revealing him self whether on 'accident' or purposely. Is it a fallen angel or a guardian angel? Is it another dimensional being? Maybe it is just a lost soul of a child that hasn't gotten to the light yet. Personally, I am hoping for the later and can communicate with it to tell it how to get to the light.
Talking with Sir Sasquatch, my partner at Weirld, we have come up with a few theories as to what or who it may be. We considered first that it may be a lost soul that has found my son to be a place of comfort for it. It can interact with him due to any number of variables. Maybe it caught a glimpse of my son when he passed and came back. We considered that maybe it is a 'friendly' that was sent to be with my son through this time of his life. To aid him, better than any counselor, with dealing with the breakup of his mom and I. Lastly, we considered if it was actually a demon, a dark force trying to use him to get to what he was really after. This is the thought that scares me. Thats why, I am going to set the stage to confront Boy this weekend while my son is staying with me. One way or another, I am going to find out, if its bad, I will banish it from my son and my family in my Lord's name.
