I was made aware of this UFO sighting in Australia. It apparently has gone viral the last few days. Here is the premise of how the video was shot. On December 7th, 2010 a thunderstorm was approaching Adelaide in South Australia. The eyewitness decided they wanted to get some good video and pictures of the lightning involved with the oncoming thunderstorm.

The eyewitness reports that at first the object may have been an airplane. Until they noticed that the lights on the object went back and forth, similar to the lights on the front of KITT in Knightrider. According to the eyewitness the pendulum lights appeared to change color as the object moved across the sky. This can be seen towards the end of the video of the UFO.

I have watched the video a number of times, pausing it, zooming in, trying to see if there has been anything missed that would make this video a hoax.   The Australian Media has published an article that says this may be a hoax because pulsating lights, like in the video, are used on some airplanes near Adelaide. You can check the article out from Adelaide Now here.

Could this be disinformation to try to discredit this video? In my examination of the video, I could not find anything that looked like wings or a windows to show that it is an airplane. What are your thoughts?
