The news has been abuzz lately with reports that there is indisputable proof that the Yeti is real. The Yeti is claimed to be a human-like creature that inhabits the Himalayas. This creature is thought to be a relative to the American Sasquatch and the Siberian Abominable Snowman.

It's no secret that I have been a long time believer in Bigfoot from my own experiences in the forests of Ohio and Michigan. I have witnessed, what I believe to be Bigfoot, first hand. A paranormal research group, Sanger Paranormal Society, based in California has come forward with some evidence of Bigfoot's existence. They claim this is the best evidence since the highly popular Patterson / Gimlin film.

Monsters have always captured my imagination. I am an avid King Kong and Godzilla fan. My love of these mythical creatures has led me to research some of the more accepted, could be real, modern day monsters like Sasquatch, Nessie, and Bessie. My absolute favorite is Sasquatch, aka Bigfoot. My first memory and exposure to Bigfoot, came from the Leonard Nimoy hosted TV show, 'In Search Of'.

Making its way around the paranormal community, are two videos that were recently uploaded to YouTube claiming to prove Bigfoot's existence. The uploader claims he captured a Bigfoot on his security camera. When he went out to investigate, he managed to film the large footprints and gait that was indented in the snow.

There have been a number of news stories and articles lately about the Chinese Bigfoot, aka the Yeren. It is said to live in the Hubei Province of China. In recent news, a hair was found in a forested area and, to date, has not been identified as belonging to any of the native species in the area. Speculation has arisen as to what or who the hair came from.

This image was captured by an NBC 33 Berwick, LA viewer who wants to remain anonymous. The image was taken by a trail camera setup to photograph wild animals. The camera was ripped from the tree and smashed on the ground, but th SIM car remained intact with the above image on it. The photographer said the camera was placed in a reserve near Morgan City.

I came across an interesting story today (now a few months old) on a local news website detailing the recent sightings of the 'Ohio Grassman' at Salt Fork State Park in southeastern Ohio and how all the national attention (MonsterQuest, Today Show, CNN, etc) has been great for the local economy.
