"KILL Bill star David Carradine was murdered by kung fu killers, his family claimed last night.

Relatives of the US actor suggested he was assassinated for delving into the activities of shadowy martial arts sects.

Carradine, 72, hero of 1970s series Kung Fu, was found dead in a hotel in Bangkok naked and with a rope round his neck, wrists and manhood.

Thai police think he died as a result of a bondage game.

But his family's lawyer said it was possible he was targeted for trying to expose underworld groups.

Speaking on the Larry King Live chat show on US television, lawyer Mark Geragos said there had been "conflicting reports" about the death.

A member of the show's panel said: "David was very interested in investigating and disclosing secret societies."

Geragos replied: "Absolutely. What that means is connected to his interest in martial arts."

Stunned families watched as the lights in the sky lined up in a flying formation before disappearing upwards into space.

The close-encounter snap was taken by quick-thinking engineer Paul Slight on his mobile phone at about 10.30pm on Sunday.

He was coming home from a day out cycling with friends in Lincoln when they spotted the lights in the sky.

The eerie extra-terrestrial crafts were hovering in the night sky over the town moving in different directions before eventually shooting straight up into the atmosphere. .."

"In the first scientific experiment to be conducted via the social messaging service, experts will investigate "remote viewing" - the psychic ability to identify distant locations.

Members of the public will be asked to "tweet" their impressions of a randomly chosen spot in the UK visited by one of the researchers.

Then they will vote for which of five photographs on a website shows where the visitor was standing.

The trial will be repeated with visually different locations four times.

If at the end of the experiment the votes correctly identify at least three targets, it will support the existence of extra-sensory perception.

Study leader psychologist Professor Richard Wiseman, from the University of Hertfordshire, who specialises in investigating psychic phenomena, said: "Personally, I'm sceptical, but three hits would be against odds of one in 125, which would be quite impressive."

TOKYO (AP) -- In a country where ghosts are traditionally believed to hide in the loo, a Japanese company is advertising a new literary experience - a horror story printed on toilet paper.

Each roll carries several copies of a new nine-chapter novella written by Koji Suzuki, the Japanese author of the horror story "Ring," which has been made into movies in both Japan and Hollywood.

"Drop," set in a public restroom, takes up about three feet (90 centimeters) of a roll and can be read in just a few minutes, according to the manufacturer, Hayashi Paper.

HONOBIA, Okla., May 28 (UPI) -- A group of Bigfoot hunters claim to have found footprints and heard calls of the legendary creature in Oklahoma.

About 30 people spent Memorial Day weekend on a Bigfoot hunt in the Kiamichi Mountains in the southeastern part of the state, the Tulsa World reports. They say they have a cast of a footprint 5 inches wide and 15 inches long.

"The toes were clearly visible on the cast after it was lifted up," said D.W. Lee, director of the Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center.

Bigfoot or Sasquatch is described as a large human-like creature. While sightings are most frequent along the Pacific Coast, especially in California and Washington, reports have come in from Pennsylvania, New York, Florida and many other states and several Canadian provinces.
