It was an exciting Friday evening.  I was just checking my Twitter account while I was driving (@OhioGrassman) and soon there was an explosion of tweets about a UFO seen near Toronto.  Accounts from many users describing a flaming ball, Ball of light with a trail of sparks, Bright lights in the SE sky, etc.  These accounts were soon followed with, "I heard a crash, sounded like thunder, it shook my house, etc."

There has been alot of hub-bub about UFO's lately.  Pictures surfacing all over the world of UFO's in Arizona, New York, Argentina, China, etc.  But I don't want to talk about those today.  I want to focus more on USO's--Unidentified Swimming Objects.  As you know, the water is near and dear to me.  I love the fact that yearly we find new aquatic animals, like the 'hairy' lobster that was discovered a year or two ago and the photos of the Giant Squid.  Simply Awesome.

Back to USO's, can we all agree that UFO's are attracted to our supplies of water on Earth?  What's to say that some extraterrestrial has colonized the very deepest depths of our lakes and oceans?  The Russian Navy just released documents describing their UFO/USO encounters.  "Russia Today" posted an article about the findings in these documents.  In fact, here is an excerpt from the article for your enjoyment:

Those of you that know me have already heard this story.  I wanted to share with the Wierld Community what inspired me.  How did I become so involved in the research of cryptids and UFO’s/Aliens.  By nature, I am a skeptic, always have been.  I am one of those see it to believe it kind of guys, as most of us humans are.  I have shared with you my first UFO sighting, here is my only bigfoot sighting.

It was an early October morning.  Bow season had just opened in Michigan and I was hunting some state land in Kalkaska County.  There was the normal dew in the grass, a slight breeze, and the sky was starting to glow from the impending sunrise.  It really was starting off to be a beautiful morning.  Sitting in my tree stand, I had an open field slightly to my left, two runs that went past me toward the creek that was on my right.  The creek was about 200 yds to my right.  I could see where the ground went down to the creek bed and then back up the other side.  I could see the far bank from my position, but I could not see the water.

It was a cool night in west Michigan.  Some friends and I decided we were going to head over to the beach in Grand Haven, MI.  We get there, lay down a couple blankets and kick back and relax. We are sitting there listening to the waves, doing what college kids do.

It is dark out, the stars look wonderful, the sound of the waves is so relaxing.  I look up into the sky over the northern part of where we are sitting.  As I am looking I notice this light in the sky.  It appears to be changing from a bluish white to orange in a sort of rhythmic pattern.  I point it out to my friends, who in turn are equally mesmerized by the light.  This light stayed in the same area for a good half hour.  We had turned to other things, listening to music, etc.  I look back up and notice the light is now in the southern sky over Lake Michigan.  Weird.

We started to hypothesize about what it was.  Was it a search helicopter?  Weather balloon?  Ball Lightening, even though there was no weather in the area.  We watched the light a little longer, and while we watched it, it zipped back to the northern sky.  It literally freaked me and my friends out so bad we packed up all our stuff in like 2 seconds.  We jumped back into my 1976 Nova and proceeded to drive as fast as we could down Lake Michigan Drive to get away from whatever was in the sky.  We were half paranoid of being abducted.  I didn't want an anal probe.

Since this incident, I have seen numerous UFO's over all the Great Lakes and some over the Atlantic Ocean.  I have seen strange things in the skies near Wright Patt Air Force Base as well.

I happened upon this article while searching the web.  Florida is a hotspot for aquatic cryptids, everything from mermaids to sea serpents, Florida has a story for them.  Aquatic cryptids hold a special place for me, as it was the story of Loch Ness that intrigued me as a young boy.  Since then I have studied many cryptids in my free time.  I look forweard to sharing those stories with you.

Greg Reynolds of LagoonKeepers.org recalls, "Channel marker ten is the first time we saw the unknown creature." "I hollered out...and said what is that? We followed it, started taking video."

This mysterious creature was caught on tape by the LagoonKeepers.

Don Serrano was with Reynolds. "I didn't know what it was….I was like HEY LOOK! And we moved over and saw it. It was different, very different."

Hello everybody! I just wanted to say welcome to our site and explain a little about Weirld.com, its origins, and what we see for it in the future.  Weirld.com started as a dream, rather an idea, to bring the entire paranormal community together.

About 18 months ago, this dream was set into motion.  We wanted to build a web community where individuals can have their own profiles, blogs, chat, etc. - basically a way for them to express their views in a community of similar minded individuals.  As time went on and programing came into place, Weirld.com started taking shape.  To make a long story shorter, what you see here today is the painstaking labor of love by a few individuals.  The brains behind the whole site is Shawn Fields (Sir Sasquatch) and the muscle is Dale Ave-Lallemant (Grassman).  But ultimately, Weirld.com's growth and success depends on you! We need you to help us build the #1 community for Believers.

Good day to all my Weirld.com friends.  I am hoping that you can help me in some research.
