A UFO sighting on October 12th from the nation of Peru is making its rounds. Approximately 60 students aged 11-12 and 4 teachers in the city of Chimbote witnessed a large cylinder shaped object streak across the sky above them. As you can see in the video at the end of this article that the event was extensively covered by the Peruvian media.
The news has been abuzz lately with reports that there is indisputable proof that the Yeti is real. The Yeti is claimed to be a human-like creature that inhabits the Himalayas. This creature is thought to be a relative to the American Sasquatch and the Siberian Abominable Snowman.
UFO's have always been a fascination of mine, and when one is reported near my hometown, I get a little excited. Michigan is known to have many UFO sightings every year, especially over the water of the Great Lakes. In fact, in my college days, I sighted one over Lake Michigan that freaked out the people I was with, but that's a story for another time.
While in the Mansfield, OH area this week, I decided to take a short trip over to the Ohio Reformatory. The reformatory was built in 1896 by architect Levi Scofield. This huge stone structure was intended to look like a European castle, and I will admit, it has a creepy, medeival feel when you first see it driving up the entry lane. The abandoned prison features the largest free standing steel cellblock in the world.
And, it also features ghosts, too. Lots of them...
Planes were diverted away from the Jiangbei International Airport in Chongqing, China because of a UFO! The UFO was spotted high above the airport on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 circling the runway.
Airport officials, worried about the air traffic, diverted several flights to other airports. The UFO sighting lasted about 50 minutes before it disappeared. Air traffic was returned to normal soon after that.
I find it to be absolutley amazing and entertaining when people release videos on YouTube and claim them to be FACT. Take the Russian UFO crash with alien body in the snow as a prime example of this. It seems that everyone is putting some kind of video out there to try and make a name for themselves. Going after the coveted 'hits' or 'likes' for their videos. But let me pose this question, what if, I mean, what if one of these videos is REAL?

I was made aware of this UFO sighting in Australia. It apparently has gone viral the last few days. Here is the premise of how the video was shot. On December 7th, 2010 a thunderstorm was approaching Adelaide in South Australia. The eyewitness decided they wanted to get some good video and pictures of the lightning involved with the oncoming thunderstorm.
UFO activity this past month has been amazing. The number of videos, still images, and encounter stories that have been shared with me over the last 4 weeks has been off the charts. With all the news about the Alaskan Sea Monster, I decided to do some more research on the monsters of the Great Lakes. Being avid readers of Weirld, as I know you are, then you are already familiar with Bessie, the Lake Erie monster. Besides Bessie, there are c couple of other local legends from around the different lakes I wanted to inform you about.
Sea creatures have always been a secret fascination of mine. When I was a boy (which some people will tell you I still am), I watched a documentary on Loch Ness and Nessie. That is what hooked me. I wanted to get pictures or catch a sea creature of my own, growing up near the Great Lakes only added fuel to the fire. The tales of Lake Erie's Sea Creature, Bessie, always kept my hopes up that someday I would find one. I still catch myself watching all the old documentaries about sea creatures in Loch Ness, being pulled out of the sea near Japan, Lake Erie, Amazon River, etc.
There has been a buzz the last few days about the sea monster of Alaska. All my news streams seem to have one story or another about this creature. Researchers believe that the animal could be a Cadborosaurus, named after Cadboro Bay in British Columbia.
I have had an increased interest in UFO activity since December when I read Stanley Fulham's predictions. Part of me wants, what he said, to be true. Some interesting footage of a 'bubble' filmed in the night sky over Hawaii has started making its rounds on the internet. This video is very interesting and genuine. It was filmed by a webcam mounted on the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope on Mauna Kea. It was captured in time lapse photography, but is still extremely interesting. Take a look....
It seems that daily we are being inundated with new UFO sightings, pictures, and videos. A video of a 'fleet' of UFOs with what looked to be a Mothership flying over a BBC building in London is the latest to surface. The video is claimed to have been taken on June 24th and posted to YouTube for the world to see. At first glance, the video seems genuine to me.
It's no secret that I have been a long time believer in Bigfoot from my own experiences in the forests of Ohio and Michigan. I have witnessed, what I believe to be Bigfoot, first hand. A paranormal research group, Sanger Paranormal Society, based in California has come forward with some evidence of Bigfoot's existence.
