In the Name of Science....

I don't think there is anyone on the planet that hasn't heard of Bigfoot, or one of the derivatives of Bigfoot, like Yeti, Sasquatch, Grassman, etc. We know the creature to be some sort of bipedal primate or humanoid type creature covered in hair from head to toe. It has a stench that could peal the paint off walls. It is said to be extremely strong and very intelligent for an animal. Yes, I called it an animal. I realize that there is a group of you out there that considers Bigfoot to be some kind of interdimensional traveling being that is highly intelligent. Personally, I don't believe that.
Believing that Bigfoot is nothing more than a primate of sorts, there should be a way to prove its existence. We have photographs, video, footprints, handprints of this creature, yet there are many that don't believe it to be a real animal. Others ask, why have we never found any remains of a Bigfoot - bones, teeth, hair, etc. There are a number of hypothesises concerning this. One of the TV shows, I can't remember which one now, laid out a fresh roadkill carcass in the woods. Tied the carcass down so no scavenger could make off with it. They setup a time delayed camera that took pictures as it decomposed. It was just a matter of days before the only thing left was bones and teeth. Nature has a way of disposing of its dead. Could this be used to explain why we have never found a carcass? Its a possibility, but I still think we would find some sort of remains. Second thought is that Bigfoot buries its own. That is has an area that it puts the dead, or even a place that Bigfoot goes when it knows its dying, similar to an 'elephant graveyard'.

“Back-Breeding” Extinct AnimalsBack to Life

As a youth I loved reading Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park books. The theories of bringing partial DNA code from dinosaurs out of fossilized mosquitoes, was nothing short of brilliant, especially in 1990. It was this book that really had me thinking about ‘resurrecting’ extinct animals. Is it possible? What would be the implications if we did? Could we control it? There is a plethora of moral, spiritual, and scientific questions that I can come up with concerning bringing back the extinct.
Apparently I am not the only one with these thoughts. There is a group in Italy looking to ‘Back Breed’ the Auroch back into existence. The Auroch is a large ‘cow’ that used to roam the European landscape. It is said this beast was just smaller than a modern day elephant and was a favorite food source for ancient Germanic tribes. My first thought was will it taste gamey or will it have a great flavor like Kobe Beef?
‘Back-Breeding’ is a method of breeding animals together that carry the traits and genetic makeup that the scientists are looking for that best matches the genome from the extinct animal. A couple things will have to happen just to get to this point. First you need to know the gnome of the extinct animal. You can get this from bones, fossilized mosquitoes, or frozen flesh samples of the extinct animal. Second you have to find animals that are descendants or relatives of the extinct animals. Lastly, you have to breed the animals with the traits you are looking for. From my understanding this is not a fast process. I am sure that it will take years to accomplish and the final product may look like the extinct animal, but will it be genetically the same?
Multi-State Sightings of Same UFO?

2010 is starting off quickly with numerous sightings of UFO's all over the globe. Seems more and more people are staring at the skies hoping to get a glimpse of something strange. After they catch this glimpse, many try to sensationalize it. Tell their story to whoever will listen to them. Frankly, I can't blame them, I would probably do the same thing. I remember my first UFO sighting, I told everyone that would listen to me about it. Granted many people blew me off or mocked me telling me it was a 'weather balloon'. Still, you have to wonder..... What was it really?
Lets take a sighting, or rather a group of sightings, from a couple days ago that involved individuals from different geopraphical areas (different states) reporting the same type object near the cresecent moon. Now these are the sightings that get me excited. It's easy to discredit one or two people, but different people in totally different areas, that will be tough to disprove. Continue on in the readmore section to see what they have seen.
The Great White Wolf, AKA theWaheela

There are many stories and myths about wolves that circulate in all cultures. Most of these stories make the wolf out to be pure evil, even little nursery ryhmes and children's stories like 'Little Red Riding Hood" and 'The Three Little Pigs'. A recent movie I have watched even vilified the wolf, '300'. The hero went into the wild and faced his fear, killing the wolf and bringing it back to camp to prove his manhood and superior hunting and fighting skills. There are stories that do not classify the wolf as an evil creature, but rather, a caring beast. Take the story of Romulus and Remus, who were cast in the river, found by a woodpecker and a wolf. They cared for the children until they were found by a farmer.
We can go back into our fossil records and find large animals, referred to as bear-dogs. These are the first 'wolves' to walk the planet. Scientists guess that these bear-dogs were the precursors to our modern canines and bears. These creatures were large in stature, as big as and bigger than the mighty Kodiak. That is an awfully large dog.
What if a species of these bear-dogs were alive today? I mean, we try to explain the Loch Ness Monster, Sasquatch, Lake Erie Monster, Florida Muck Monster and many other cryptids as 'surviving' dinosaurs or other animals that made it through. Why can't we use the bear-dog to explain the Waheela? I know, you are asking yourself, what is the Waheela? I'll tell you. It is a large White Wolf-like creature that allegedly lives on the border between Alaska and Canada. It is said to inhabit an area called the "Headless Valley". The valley gets this name from the mysterious deaths that occurred there. Bodies found without heads. Continue reading to find out more about this cryptid.
Aliens, UFOs and Air Force Bases

Another beautiful day in snowy, grey SW Ohio. Sigh. As I sit here and ponder the meaning of life and the events that have surrounded me these last few years, I find myself wondering if it was destiny that I ended up living near Wright-Patt AFB. I've always been fascinated by UFOs (have even seen a few weird things in the skies over Michigan growing up outside of Detroit), so I guess it was destiny that I moved to an area so important to UFOlogy.
When I moved here over 10 years ago, the stories of UFOs, Aliens, Hanger 18, the Roswell Crash, etc. were everywhere. Everyone in this area has an opinion about what supposedly has happened over the years (and what some say is currently happening) at Wright Patt. It is like a paranormal wonderland right in my backyard. Even TAPS filmed a Ghost Hunters epsidode here recently.
What intrigues me most about this place are the UFO and ET rumors. I believe I have seen UFOs here, but have written most of them off to experimental craft from the base or natural phenomena. But one event, back in 1999, still sits vividly in my memory and I cannot easily write it off....

Back in August of 1999, I was at a funeral for a relative when I ran into my cousin, "Rodney" (not his real name). Now, I hadn't seen "Rodney" in almost 10 years, so naturally, I was anxious to catch up with him and see what he had been doing with his life since I last saw him.
I told him about my job, my family, etc and we made some general small-talk for a few minutes, and then Rodney told me about his career.
He said he was a lab assistant at a [well-known food brand's] poultry facility in the south. He said the hours were long and the job was quite an 'adventure'. Curious...I pressed him to explain what he meant by 'adventure.'
What he told me next not only made me laugh in disbelief, it scared the hell out of me...
Is My Son's 'Imaginary Friend' theGhost of a Little Boy?

To catch you up to speed, most of you have read or heard about the 'thing' following and interacting with my son. I figured it was an imaginary friend, until the incidents at my house. Since my last posting, there has been no activity at all at my house, not even a blip on the thermometer. None. Nothing. Zilch.
After wrestling practice last night, I was taking my boy to his mom's house where he sleeps during the week for school. Let me lay some foundation about this house. It was the first house that I lived in, and is the house that my son came to after his birth. Through my sons sickness, that is the house we stayed in. As time passed and he got better, I had some business ventures become profitable and we had a house built and moved. The house we moved to is where I live and the first sighting of Boy occurred. Over the next couple years, my sons mom and I agreed we were two different of people and split. She moved back to the original house with her sister and her sisters two young kids. In the house today, you have my ex, her sister, and 4 children (2 boys in one bedroom, 2 girls in the other, then my ex and her sister each have their own rooms) Now that you have a bunch of needless info that sort of sets the dynamics of that house.
Aliens and Disclosure

Through the small communities and web blogs that I read and write in, the main topic as of late in a majority of them is Disclosure. I have written about it here in previous postings. I have tried to present and unbiased, open view of what could or what people are writing will happen. Seems everyone has their own theory, and I am no different.
Lets start with one issue and put it to rest, Does Extraterrestial Life Exist? For sake of a long drawn out argument, Yes It Does. Can we be that closed minded to think that it doesn't? In the grand scheme of things, Terra is just a spec in universe. Scientists are discovering, even today, other bodies in the universe that contain water, one of the building blocks needed for humans to sustain life.
Lets get down to the meat and potatoes of Disclosure. It's basically showing and proving that ET's exist and have visited our planet. Am I wrong? People, especially in the UFO community, want to know the truth. My question for you, Can We Handle the Truth? Now take a moment and really think about that question. Can the general public handle the information that we are not alone? Do you not think that panic would take over the world if ET's were revealed to exist to the general public?
'Imaginary Friend'

My son has been telling me of his imaginary friend for a couple years now. He talks of this friend like he is really there. Being the concerned parent I am, I did some research on imaginary friends and how they effect young children. From what I could find, imaginary friends are good for kids. It is shown that children who have imaginary friends are more mature and socially skilled then their peers that do not have imaginary friends. I figured it was a good thing and even encouraged it at times.
What happens if this imaginary friend is not so imaginary? I mean, what if some kids are really having a conversation with someone or something that us adults cannot see? I believe this to be the case with my son.
Two nights before Christmas Eve, I was sitting in my study, aka Weirld Room, talking on the phone. I had sent my son and his brother up to take their showers and get ready for bed. They went and used my room cause my bathroom is cooler (Jacuzi tub and such). Anyways, it was taking them way too long, so I decided to go up and see what was happening. When I turned to go up the stairs, I seen what looked like a boy run from my room to my sons room. Weird right? The boy was about 4 feet tall wearing what looked like a black and white shirt and jean type pants. The boy looked like he had dark hair. As I got to the top of the stairs, I went into my sons room first to see if anything, or anyone was there. I found nothing.
